There’s a good chance you’re going through something challenging right now. Maybe you’re even facing a huge mountain of adversity. Whatever you’re dealing with and as impossible as the odds may seem, one way or another, God will get you through. That’s the message of our guest, Angela Scott. She’s turned her misfortunes into a ministry to help other women know that they, too, can turn to the Lord. She’ll walk us through some of her struggles and the steps she’s taking to “turn mourning into dancing.” This is not an overnight fix, but real talk to give you some comfort and help you make progress.
Angela Scott, known as “Angela’s Agape Love” has had a heart for encouraging women for quite some time, but she began feeling that God wanted her to use her pain to help others. Her outreach on social media and widely attended “prayer and shares” have also blossomed into her first beautiful event. Lanee is one of the featured speakers.
The Bible says “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NLT). God is not only with us but gets into the deep places to heal us. He knows us better than anyone. Having friends and family for support can be extremely important and many times professional help is necessary, but as Angela pointed out in this episode, there’s nobody like God. If He can create heaven and earth, He can know what you need. Invite Him into your healing process! And it IS a process, Angela tells us that she still has some bad days where an event, something someone says or even a smell can trigger memories of how her life used to be. She says, though, that if we lean on Him through this, we come out on the other side with knowledge and empathy to help others going through hard times. God uses everything.
