Everyone who thought they knew exactly what to expect in 2020 has found themselves in a world of absolutely unexpected events. Everything we thought we knew has changed, often at a day by day and minute by minute pace. We are seeing devastating losses of health, life, finances and jobs, but we are also seeing heroes step in as we watch doctors, nurses, businesses and neighbors band together to look after one another and keep everyone safe and strong.
This entire COVID-19 crisis is teaching us that there are so many things that we simply cannot control, but we wanted to use this episode to focus on the things that we can control.
Kelli Center, from Centered Living Counseling and Coaching, gives us a new approach to facing uncontrollable circumstances. Our normal lives already have a daily assortment of problems that can cause anxiety. Now that we are facing the coronavirus, we have brand new setbacks and triggers that can cause even more anxiety and fear. This is a wake-up call that no one asked for but that affects all of us. We want to stop the spread of the virus while starting an abundant spread of basic human kindness and encouragement!
